Letter from gubernatorial candidate Bibb Graves asking for support of Hugh Walker Cardon (1909-1953). Also included is an interesting letter from a Japanese man to Cardon. This man seems to be an old friend and addresses Cardon as Mayor. The letter, dated 1928, was sent to the University of Alabama. Hugh Walker Cardon (1909-1953) may have been employed at the University at that time.
